Charles is an orthopaedic hip and knee specialist who has been practicing in Taranaki for 8 years. He practices at Taranaki base hospital and Southern Cross Hospital.
Charles performs over 250 joint replacements per year. These include partial knee replacement, total knee replacements, hip replacements, revision hip replacements and general orthopaedics. Charles trained initially in the United Kingdom and in the some of the most prestigious Orthopaedic centres. He then performed his fellowship under leading hip and knee surgeons in New Zealand and Oxford, UK.
Charles is continually striving to improve patient care and surgical techniques for his patients' knee problems. He does this by being actively involved in clinical research, teaching and regular international meeting attendance.
Charles is married to Natasha and has three sons Sammy, Daniel, Calum and a daughter Elise.
Certified by the Royal College of Surgeons England and accredited with the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association Charles has the experience, knowledge and skills to provide the highest quality of orthopaedic treatments
